For guests traveling from North America, we suggest flying into Paris. The city is about two hours from the venue, with convenient train and car options to reach the region.
Direct trains from Paris connect to Vermenton, the location of the celebration, as well as Auxerre, the nearest "large" city. The journey takes about two hours.
Driving to Vermenton from Paris takes roughly two hours via the A6 or A5 highways. Make the most of the trip by stopping at charming spots like Fontainebleau or Auxerre. Once you arrive, enjoy the vineyards and storybook villages.

A village with medieval charm

The outdoor ceremony begins at 4pm. Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen. Shuttles depart from the Logis St Francoi. Parking is available at the venue. Summer formal attire is suggested.
Pharmacies: Pharmacie Fleurs de vigne (Rue Charles de Gaulle) and Pharmacie Lafayette des Clairions (Auxerre). The nearest hospital is Centre Hospitalier d’Auxerre (Boulevard de Verdun), 25 minutes from Vermenton.
Expect warm days (25-30°C) and cool evenings in August. For the outdoor ceremony, pack comfortable shoes, sunglasses, or a hat. The evening festivities will be indoors, so you shouldnt worry about the cold unless you are particularly chilly.
In Burgundy, choosing between cheese and dessert is unthinkable. The only answer? Indulge in both.
Lunch is sacred in Burgundy. Shops close from noon to 2pm as everyone gathers to eat. Take your time and enjoy a glass of Chablis. Tips are included, but a 5% gesture for exceptional service is appreciated.
In Auxerre, visit the Saturday market (8am–12pm) at Place de l'Hôtel de Ville for fresh local produce. In Chablis, the Sunday market (8:30am–2pm) offers a quintessential Burgundian experience.
